My decision to join the Department of Molecular Biology at Princeton was based on the exceptional faculty and the opportunity to participate in sophisticated research. The multidisciplinary environment provides a graduate education that is sufficiently broad in scope and rigorous in depth to suit my future goals. Many of the labs in this department offer the opportunity to understand a particular aspect of molecular biology by combining classical methods with modern molecular and genetic techniques. These skills will be tremendously valuable as I pursue my goal of becoming a research scientist. The training in the lab is augmented by a classroom education in one of the finest and most respected programs in the country. I am confident that the knowledge, skills, and experience gained during the pursuit of a doctorate from the Department of Molecular Biology will provide a strong foundation for a productive and successful career in scientific research. Hany is now a postdoc at Harvard Medical School. |
