MD/PhD Program at Princeton University

 
The Department of Molecular Biology has joined forces with Robert Wood Johnson Medical School  and Rutgers University to create a multi-institutional MD/PhD program. Students in the MD/PhD program receive their medical training at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and their PhD training at one of the three participating institutions.

PhD program requirements

MD/PhD students who receive their PhD training in the Department of Molecular Biology  at Princeton University take two courses, which can be either core or elective courses, from the approved departmental course list

In addition, MD/PhD students in the Department of Molecular Biology take the General Exam during their second PhD year, participate in the Graduate Student Colloquium, and attend the three-day off-site department retreat held every fall.
