Garcia Honored for Mass Spec Research

Ben Garcia, an Assistant Professor of Molecular Biology, is one of two recipients of a 2009 American Society for Mass Spectrometry Research award for his project “A Proteomic Approach for Understanding the ADP-Ribosylation Histone Code.”  This award was established to promote academic research by young scientists in mass spectrometry and is open to academic scientists within four years of joining as tenure track faculty.  He recently received the award at the annual American Society for Mass Spectrometry Research Conference this past June.
